Hi folks, Great site.
I dont have a cruiser yet, but i think there might be one on the cards soon (hopefully).
I have hade 3 cruisers over the years, a 70 series and two 90 series, and loved them , so i cant wait to get rolling again.

Hi Shamie , its a buyers market at the minute especially for a good 90, but 70's seen to be getting few and far between. The new vat rule has fecked alot of people.
My mate is selling his 06 120 swb think he wants €13,000.00+vat

I'm guessing its the only 75 series Troopie in Ireland. I have seen 1 or 2 traybacks here no documents for off road only, and heard there was a New Zealand power lines crew knocking around Sligo with traybacks.
There are a lot more troopies in germany and europe. Though theyre LHD, which if like Fat Donalds you'll be screwed.

If you check overlanding forums, based in Australia or South Africa. You may be able to source a RHD troopie from people who are ending their journey in Europe.

Hi Tonka
Is the front bumper an Arb? Are they still legal?
Reason for asking an oill lorry reversed into my 70 lucky enough only damaged the bumper , so though now when it needs fixing might fixed it with an ARB or get on made.

No its not ARB, but it is a home made, heavy duty, tree felling, wall dropping, kanga killing winch bar.
Passed the MOT in the north when I imported.
As far as i know. You can not sell a new vehicle in the EU with a full bar fitted to it. I'm not sure of them life-style, bling, chrome a-bars.
This wagon also has a mudder focker of a rear bumper.
It originally had 2 homemade swing outs for tyre and out board engine on the back. Not anymore. When I viewed the car it didnt have them fitted. When i picked it up they were fitted. So I shat meself when the spare wheel and carrier went bouncing down the motorway in Brisbane. :-O

Some time in the future, I'll be doing an expedition thread for the White Elephants adventures in Queensland.
