My name is Tamas,am from Hungary and live in Ireland ,Connemara more than 10 years now . This BJ40 is my first offroader to restore. Im a car collector but mostly sports cars like 3000gt vr4 (3),Dodge Stealth (1).
So im a newbie on this field...In my young ages iv been working for a classic car restaurator garage in my qountry. This bj40 start first time,and drivable. Looks like a tatty farm 4x4 now and i wanna make very outstanding by wheels+tyres,bit of lift 4" ,soft top,etc. So im here to learn few practics,tricks and progress to do by a few months.hopefully she will be roadworthy inthis summer!

Welcome to the forum Tamas, there is a good bit of work in that 40. Are you keeping it as a pickup? By Summer is a tough dead line, its taken me every weekend this year to rework my suspension.

Yeah there is a lot work to do!
Im gonna fit softtop over the rollcage,with those doors or this ones i have it. 4" lift ,35 tyres ,electric heated leather seats from Lexus goes into it,some headunit with subbox, servo steering ,and biodiesel fueling or similar ...
Yes the summer is on the corner ...but i try anyways ... i have few hours working on it every second day !
