hello Ben
and welcome to the shiney new landcruiser website.
I too have an LJ70.
I got a door skin off Toyota for a 1989 70 series a few years ago. You'd be surprised sometimes Toyota does offload spares cheaply. Get onto toyodiy.com enter your chassis number, go the the body section and find out the part numbers for what your after. then you can contact Toyota and they should help out .
Most likely toyota Ireland would have to get the part in from Belgium where their main european spare parts depot is.
alternatively if toyota is too pricey. check my post on the 40 series page for body panels. most of the same dealers can suppy the parts for other landcrusiers. they mightnt be advertised on their websites. but they should be able to help you out.
If youre going to the trouble of replacing the bodybushes consider a body lift too. (to get bigger wheels on it, though it would affect body roll) again the dealers on the above mentioned sites sell these, lift kits and standard bush sets.
good luck sean.
and post us some piccies of your wagon.
a picture says a thousands words , so heres my picture of a snowball_______ o

Your doing what I want to do only can't afford it at the minute. I took the back seats out of my one recently , didn't want too (wanted to keep it original) but couldn't justify paying over €1400.00 for tax (3.0l). when I got it first I tax It privately cost €1150.00 that time , I would say the back seats where sat in 20 times , I would have been cheaper paying to get them taxis. I need the overhauling show to come and do it for me :)
