New to Club and forum. Great contacts picked up so far . Bought a 1983 BJ 40 about 10 years ago in the North with MOT . One owner from new. This was an import from the South, no glass in rear, windows removed and panels welded in - taxed as a commercial vehicle. Garaged ever since .
Rear floor and inner rear mudgards are removed- beyond repair , rear quarter panels are filled- how deep not known as yet otherwise all is in reasonable order. Seats binned- again beyond saving.
Plan to retire this year and am undecided what to do - restore or sell. This is one of the best I have seen in the North for restoration and it wont take much work to get it back on the road. Might get bored after week 1 and get stuck in.
So will keep you posted and add a few pics when I work out ghow to get them on!
