Ken here. Kildare.

I have a 2000 100 series 4.2 TD VX AHC. I use it for daily use ( but only on weekends :D ). Haven't been properly off road YET.

It's a keeper despite the crippling road tax. It's on BF Goodrich 285/75/16 KO's. Got the TC rebuilt with the help of Julian at Overland cruisers. Recently sent the injectors off to AD for servicing (great job) and got myself filthy cleaning out the intake. EGR bypassed. New spheres also with superpro poly bushings up front. Have to start on the back next as she's knocking somewhere. Running a tunit box on setting 8. HID kit (love that).

Previously had a 120 (got rid due to odd noise from engine - has probably popped its clogs by now with the injector/pickup issue). Before that had a 90 prado. Loved it and shouldn't have got rid.

I also own a 1991 BMW 850ci 5.0l V12 and a 1975 MGB roadster. Daily driver is a Toyota Starlet (changing to a corolla today hopefully).
OH drives a E39 530d.

Looking forward to some good threads.

Welcome Ken,

I like the 100's, comfortable machine. I take it your have it taxed private, I have a 80 dont like paying it myself.
Also interested in how you find the poly bushes..

Howdy.
I don't think I can give a proper assessment of the bushes really becuase she's still a bit loose up front. Just did the lower ball joints and plan to put the superpro in the upper control arm and do the upper balls also.
On that note - anyone know whether the lower ball joints are the same part number as upper? I got them (lowers) from milner but they don't list uppers.

Re: tax - yes, she's taxed privately. I detest it but nothing I can do really.
