Hi - Sorry for the delay in introducing myself .
I'm a big 70 series fan - think my obsession started while travelling in oz a good few years ago, great memories of driving rented troop carriers with the big 4.2 engines in them.
I got my hands on an old 1992 jap import a couple of years ago , it was a doe failure so I just use it around the farm. My everyday drive is a 2006 Lc 8 seater but I'm tired of paying the rediculous tax !!
A little while ago I came across a mint 1994 70 series with the 3 litre engine so I bought that with the intension of it becoming my everyday drive since it has commercial tax.
I'll try post some photos of the ' collection ' :)

Hi Tom welcome along. Lovely collections there.

Is your 3.0 L 70 Series manual or auto?

Thanks - the man I bought it from said it came in from Japan with no remote or handle for turning it on. Its a Ramsey - suppose to be a factory fit ? It has the proper winch bumper with hinged number plate. Dont know much more about it - any advice to get it working ?

Its factory fit for that time, apparently Toyota used either Ramsey or Warn electric winches, majority were Warn and I think they only use Warn now. Should be easy enough to get working.
